More about Kadence Blocks

Kadence Blocks newsletter form, built in the editor

Turn any Kadence Blocks Advanced Form into a newsletter form that adds or updates a MailerPress contact on each submission.

  • MailerPress submit action: added to the Advanced Form block.
  • Each submission: adds or updates a contact with your lists, tags and fields.
  • Free Kadence Blocks: the free version is enough.
  • Other actions: the email notification and your other actions keep running.

Requires MailerPress Pro. Read the Kadence Blocks guide

Contact forms that respect consent

One form handles both the request and the newsletter sign-up, and only visitors who consent are added.

  • “Require a consent field”: link it to an Accept or Checkbox field.
  • Box left unchecked: the form is still sent and you still get the message.
  • No consent, no contact: nothing is added to MailerPress.
  • Typical use: contact or quote forms.

Every field in the right place

Map each form field to the right MailerPress field from the block’s MailerPress panel.

  • Core fields: pick the email, first name and last name fields.
  • Custom fields: one form field per MailerPress custom field, such as a phone number or a company.
  • Lists and tags: for example a “Webinar” tag on a registration form.
  • No duplicates: a contact whose email already exists is updated.

You decide when confirmation is required

Require email confirmation on one form, or let it follow your site-wide double opt-in setting.

  • “Always require email confirmation”: applies even if double opt-in is off for the rest of the site.
  • Pending until confirmed: new and re-subscribing contacts wait for the link in the confirmation email.
  • Option off: the form follows your global setting.
  • Existing subscribers: they stay Subscribed.
  • Opt-in source: every contact is recorded with “kadence_form”.

Set it up

Check three requirements, then add the MailerPress action to any Advanced Form.

  • MailerPress Pro 2.1.0+: required for the MailerPress action.
  • Kadence Blocks: free or paid version.
  • Email field: your form needs one.
  • Deactivating MailerPress Pro: remove the action from your forms, submissions are blocked while it is missing.
