Fluent Forms newsletter sign-ups with MailerPress
Turn every Fluent Forms submission into a newsletter contact, with tags and mapped fields.
- MailerPress feed: added to a Fluent Forms form.
- Each submission: creates or updates a contact in your MailerPress list.
- Fluent Forms free: the free version of Fluent Forms is enough.
- No API key: both plugins run on the same site.
Requires MailerPress Pro 1.3+. Read the Fluent Forms guide
Tag and filter each form’s subscribers
Sort each form’s subscribers with tags and send only the submissions you want.
- One list, any number of tags: for example “webinar” and “spring-launch”.
- Conditional Logics: send only matching submissions, such as those with the consent checkbox ticked.
- Custom fields: each MailerPress custom field is listed in the feed.
- Example: a “Job title” field fills the matching contact field.
Decide on double opt-in form by form
With Fluent Forms, the feed option alone decides on double opt-in, whatever your MailerPress setting.
- Enable Double Opt-In: checked by default.
- Checked: contacts are Pending and get the confirmation email, even if confirmation is off in MailerPress.
- Unchecked: contacts are subscribed right away.
- Example: confirmation on a public form, direct subscription on a members-only form with prior consent.
Know where each subscriber came from
Name the source of each form’s sign-ups and spot failed submissions directly in Fluent Forms.
- Opt-in Source: type a label, such as “Pricing page form”, saved on the contact.
- Left empty: the source reads Fluent Form.
- Failed feed: shown on the submission in Fluent Forms when a contact is missing.
- Possible causes: an invalid email or no list selected.
