More about FluentCart

FluentCart email marketing, without leaving WordPress

Keep your FluentCart customers, lists and emails in one WordPress dashboard, since MailerPress reads FluentCart directly on your site.

  • Checkout opt-in: a newsletter checkbox in the FluentCart checkout.
  • Customer portal: a newsletter tab where customers manage their lists.
  • Automations: FluentCart triggers in the automation editor.

Requires MailerPress Pro. Read the FluentCart guide

Customers subscribe as they order

Customers who tick a box at checkout join your lists as soon as FluentCart creates the order.

  • “Enable checkout opt-in checkbox”: shows an unchecked box above the billing fields.
  • Lists and tags: customers who tick it join the ones you choose.
  • “Custom Field Mapping”: saves the phone number or billing country on the contact.
  • Double opt-in: when on, new contacts stay Pending until they confirm by email.

A newsletter tab in the customer portal

Logged-in customers subscribe to your lists or leave them on their own, without writing to you.

  • “Enable Customer Portal tab”: adds a Newsletters tab for logged-in customers.
  • Address: /customer-portal/newsletters/.
  • Your choices: which lists they can manage, the tab name and the messages shown after saving.

Emails for payments, refunds and renewals

Eight FluentCart triggers let each order, payment or subscription event start an automated email.

  • Order triggers: “Order Created”, “Order Paid”, “Order Refunded” and “Payment Failed”.
  • Subscription triggers: “Subscription Activated”, “Renewed”, “Canceled” or “Expired”.
  • Examples: a reminder when a payment fails, a thank-you sequence after “Order Paid”.
  • Goals: “Order received (FluentCart)” and “Order paid (FluentCart)” end a reminder sequence when the customer buys.

Building these automations requires MailerPress Pro.

Set it up

Everything is set from the Fluent Cart card in MailerPress.

  • MailerPress Pro 2.1.0+: required for everything on this page.
  • FluentCart: the plugin must be active.
  • Where: MailerPress > Integrations > Third-party extensions, then Configure on the Fluent Cart card.
