Send your WordPress newsletter through Amazon SES from your own AWS account, and keep writing, scheduling and measuring everything in MailerPress.

Pay for the emails you send
Amazon SES charges for the emails you send, not for the number of contacts on your list.
- À la carte price: $0.10 per 1,000 emails, plus attachment data, as listed by AWS.
- Example: 5,000 contacts mailed four times a month (20,000 emails) cost about $2.
- Your AWS plan: prices vary with the plan you choose in AWS.

Sending speed set for SES limits
MailerPress Pro offers four Amazon SES profiles so your sends stay within the rate AWS allows your account.
- Balanced (Recommended): 75 emails every 5 minutes, about 900 an hour.
- Performance (High volume): 1,800 an hour at 14 emails per second, the default SES rate quoted by MailerPress.
- Maximum: 2,400 an hour, for accounts whose sending rate AWS has raised.
- Where to set it: MailerPress > Settings > Sending frequency.

Bounced addresses leave your mailings
Each bounced address gets the Bounced status and no longer receives your campaigns.
- In MailerPress: turn on Enable bounce tracking.
- In Amazon SNS: subscribe the SNS endpoint URL to the topic receiving your SES bounces.
- Signed notifications: MailerPress confirms the subscription and checks the AWS signature of each one.
- Why it matters: AWS can review or pause sending when an account’s bounce rate stays high.
- Complaints: notifications sent to the same topic do not change your contacts.

Set it up
Connect Amazon SES to MailerPress with an IAM access key and a domain verified in Amazon SES.
- AWS account: with your domain verified in Amazon SES.
- Out of sandbox mode: needed to email any address.
- IAM access key: allowed to send with SES.
