Enterprise-Grade Sending: Amazon SES
For high-volume senders, reliability and cost-efficiency are paramount. MailerPress 1.4 introduces native support for Amazon SES (Simple Email Service).
You can now select Amazon SES as your email provider within the integration settings. This allows you to leverage Amazon’s scalable infrastructure to send thousands of emails with high deliverability rates and significantly lower costs compared to traditional marketing platforms.
Intelligent Spam Protection
Keeping your mailing list clean starts at the sign-up form. We have introduced a new layer of security to prevent bots and malicious actors from cluttering your database:
- Honeypot protection: we have added an invisible field that only bots can see. If this field is filled out, the submission is automatically rejected without bothering your real visitors with captchas.
- Rate limiting: to prevent flood attacks, you can now limit the number of form submissions allowed from a single IP address within a specific timeframe.
Public Archives & Web Versions
Your newsletters shouldn’t disappear once they are read. We have unlocked the ability to turn your email content into permanent website assets.
Public URLs
Every sent campaign now generates a public URL. This allows you to share a “View in Browser” link easily on social media or with users who have trouble viewing the email client version.
Frontend Archives
You can now automatically display a library of your past newsletters on your website. Using a new Gutenberg block or shortcode, you can create a dedicated “Past Issues” page that updates automatically whenever you send a new campaign. This is excellent for SEO and for showing potential subscribers the value they will receive.
Data Control & Onboarding
We have improved how you handle your data and how you get started with the plugin:
- Uninstall data options: you now have full control over your footprint. You can choose whether to keep your data (lists, campaigns, settings) or wipe everything clean if you decide to uninstall the plugin.
- Revamped Setup Wizard: the onboarding experience has been redesigned for clarity. Furthermore, the wizard is no longer a one-time event; you can restart it at any time from the settings if you need to reconfigure your basics.
