Reasoning mode for harder requests
DeepSeek is the only provider in MailerPress with a Reasoning mode toggle: the model thinks before answering.
- Trade-off: replies take longer and use more tokens.
- Turn it on: for requests with many constraints, like an automation with conditions and several emails.
- Leave it off: for quick rewrites.
Images come from another provider
DeepSeek writes text in MailerPress but does not generate images, so pair it with an image provider.
- Separate settings: Text AI and Image AI are set independently.
- OpenAI: GPT Image 2.0 creates the pictures in your emails.
- Gemini Image: Nano Banana creates the pictures in your emails.

Every MailerPress Pro writing tool runs on DeepSeek, from the first draft to the workflow behind your emails.
- Write with AI: drafts or rewrites a block in a chat.
- AI actions: summarize, expand or correct a whole block.
- Subject and preview: Generate with AI writes them, 60 and 130 characters max.
- Automations: Create with AI builds a workflow from a description.
- Limit AI: caps the number of AI actions per month across the site.
Set it up
Create a key on the DeepSeek platform, then select DeepSeek in the MailerPress text settings.
- Where: MailerPress > Settings > AI Settings > Text AI, then click DeepSeek.
- Choices: pick a model, set Reasoning mode, then paste the key.
- Permissions: only administrators can use AI by default.
