You can help improve MailerPress by contributing a translation in your own language. This helps make MailerPress accessible to a wider global community.
Follow the steps below to get started:
1. Check Existing Translations
Visit translate.wordpress.org and search for MailerPress to see if your language is already available or in progress.
2. Learn How WordPress Translations Work
Before translating, we recommend reviewing the official WordPress Translation Handbook to understand how GlotPress and the WordPress localization system work.
3. Create Your Translation
You can translate MailerPress using:
- GlotPress on translate.wordpress.org, or
- A desktop tool such as Poedit (free)
⚠️ Please do not add promotional links, ads, or personal messages inside the translation strings.
4. Submit Your Translation
- If you used GlotPress, send us an email to notify us so we can review and approve your translation.
- If you used Poedit, send your completed .PO and .MO files to our support email.
5. Get Recognition
Once your translation is approved, your name (or X/Twitter handle, if you prefer) will be credited in the MailerPress plugin readme and on our contributors page (if requested).
