The sender name and email address are what your contacts see in the “From” field of their inbox. A clear, consistent sender helps them recognize and trust your emails. MailerPress lets you save several senders, choose a default one, and pick the sender of each campaign.
Multiple sender addresses are included in MailerPress since version 2.1.0.
When you first activate MailerPress, the setup wizard asks for a default sender name and email address. You can change them and add other senders at any time.
Manage your senders
- Go to MailerPress > Settings > General.
- In the Email senders section, click a sender to edit it, or click Add sender.
- Fill in the fields below.
- Click Add sender (new sender) or Save changes (existing sender). The sender is saved right away.

| Reply-to email | The address that receives replies. Leave empty to use the From email. Reply-to works with PHP Mail and Custom SMTP. Other sending services may not support it. |

| Set as default sender | Shown for senders that are not the default. Turn it on to make this sender the default. Only one sender can be the default. It is marked with an icon in the list. |
Before using a sender address, verify it with your email service provider (the service that delivers your emails). This proves to the provider that the address is yours. Your provider may reject unverified addresses.
To remove a sender, open it, click Delete and confirm. Campaigns already sent with this sender are not affected. You must keep at least one sender. If you delete the default sender, the first remaining sender becomes the default.
Choose the sender of a campaign
- In the email editor, click Preview & Send.
- In the Details step, select the sender in the From field.
The list contains:
- the default sender of your active sending service, if its configuration defines one, labelled with the service name followed by “default”;
- the senders saved in Email senders (an address already listed for the sending service is not repeated).
For a new campaign, MailerPress preselects the sending service’s default sender if there is one, otherwise your default sender. Once you choose a sender for a campaign, it is kept for that campaign.

Pre-fill test email recipients
On the same MailerPress > Settings > General page, Default test email recipients holds addresses pre-filled each time you send a test email, for example a colleague or a client who approves your drafts. Type an address, press Enter, then click Save settings.
