By default, deleting MailerPress from the Plugins screen removes the plugin files but keeps your contacts, campaigns and settings, so you can reinstall it later without losing anything. To remove MailerPress and MailerPress Pro completely, with all their data, enable data cleanup first.
Remove MailerPress and all its data
- Make a full backup of your site (database and files). The deletion can’t be undone.
- Go to MailerPress > Settings > General, Data Management section.
- Enable Remove all data on plugin deletion, then confirm with Yes, Enable Data Cleanup.
- Click Save settings.
- Go to Plugins, deactivate MailerPress (this also deactivates MailerPress Pro), then click Delete under MailerPress.
