The MailerPress editor makes it easy to design beautiful, responsive email campaigns without writing code. This quick-start guide will walk you through the basics so you can create your first email in minutes.
The Editor at a Glance
When you open the editor, you’ll see three main areas:

| Left Sidebar | The Block Tree — shows the structure of your email. You can drag, drop, and reorder blocks here. |
| Center Panel | The Email Canvas — this is your live design area where you build and preview your email visually. |
| Right Sidebar | The Settings Panel — lets you customize selected blocks (text, colors, spacing, fonts, etc.). |
1. Start with Blocks
Everything in MailerPress is built with blocks. Common ones include:
- Text — add body copy, descriptions, etc.
- Heading — insert titles or section headings.
- Image — upload and display product visuals, logos, etc.
- Button — add call-to-action (CTA) buttons.
- Divider — insert spacers or visual separators.
- Hero — create featured sections with image + heading + CTA.
- and many more.
✅ Tip: All blocks must be placed inside a Wrapper or Section block. This is done automatically by MailerPress to generate clean MJML code, the standard language for emails.
2. Customize Content
Click any block in the canvas or block tree to edit it.

In the right sidebar, you can for example:
- Edit text content
- Change font size, color, and alignment
- Adjust padding and margins
- Upload images or icons
- Configure button links and styles

Block Toolbar
Each block has also its own toolbar when you select a block. It’s located just above the block to quickly add bold, italic, links, emoji, use AI prompts and more.
This toolbar can be move to the top for more convenience if you want by opening the Settings menu from the top right, then Top toolbar.
3. Add or Reorder Blocks
- Use the “+” icon to add new blocks.
- Drag blocks in the left panel to rearrange them.
- Click the three dots beside any block to duplicate or delete it.
💡 Tip: Start with a Hero block to design a clean header quickly, then stack Text, Image, and Button blocks below.
4. Preview Your Email
To preview how your email will look on different devices:
- Click the Preview icon or open the menu (⋯) in the top-right.
- Toggle Live Mode to view the final output.
- Send a test email to yourself before publishing.
5. Ready to Send?
When your design is complete:
- Click Review & Send in the top-right.
- Check your content, subject line, and sender info.
- Schedule or send immediately.
